Stroke Rehabilitation

Successful rehabilitation from a stroke is now one of the biggest current targets for the UK government to achieve in terms of medical progress. Whatever can be done in terms of stroke rehabilitation must be done to help this population. The ARNI Trust, which is a registered Charity (No. 1116130) & stands for Action for Rehabilitation from Neurological Injury, gives guidance to patients and Instructors alike concerning the physical training of patients who require recovery programmes. Such training enables those who have suffered brain injuries progressively to recover movement, balance, physical strength and confidence.

The ARNI Trust was formed to encourage and advance the rehabilitation of members of those suffering from the effects of stroke, and other brain injuries which have resulted in partial paralysis.

Terry Samuels (senior Personal Trainer at Aktiv) is proud to be a qualified ARNI instructor & honoured to be in the position of having the facility to run Stroke Rehabilitation clinics from the Aktiv Personal Training Suite in Chester. These clinics are small group sessions & deal with individuals in various states of recovery.
