Because exercise builds muscle tone, strength and stamina, it will help your body to cope with the weight you gain during pregnancy, also making it much easier to regain the levels of fitness & body shape you had prior to the pregnancy once you have given birth. Pilates is an excellent form of exercise during this time, as it helps improve & maintain of your abdominal & pelvic floor muscles.
