Pilates & Yoga


Whether you’re a beginner or you have a fair bit of experience with either Pilates or Yoga, Aktiv Personal Training can accommodate your needs. Our expert Yoga & Pilates instructors will take you through skilfully taught sessions that can be undertaken on either a one 2 one basis, or as part of a small class (max 4 people), to provide each client with a safe environment in which to work, with maximum attention being payed to each individual.

We cover a range of types of Yoga from Ashtanga to Fitness Yoga. If you are unsure of which type of yoga is right for you & your needs, just ask & we will be more than happy to guide you in the right direction. With Pilates being a gentle low impact form of exercise, it is widely acknowledged as one of the best forms of exercise for a pregnant woman. And because it helps maintain and improve the condition of both your abdominal and pelvic floor muscles, it is not only hugely beneficial, but also a safe form of exercise to undertake whilst pregnant.

These services are offered at the Aktiv Personal Training Suite in Chester, or at the client’s home or place of work (space permitting).

Pilates
I have been attending Pilates classes with Claire Darlington for a year now. I find every session interesting as I enjoy doing exercises, moreover it helps me relax, control my mind and body, resulting in a healthier and happier me by the end of the day!
